Have you ever think what could you do from one pair of jeans?

You probably own many jeans you most likely are not wearing any more and maybe you want to get rid of them. However, you don´t have to, because there are many ways to upcycle them.

Here’s one interesting project to make.

DENIM ESPADRILLES

Espadrilles are originating from Spain and with its paritcular look of esparto rope sole and the fabric upper are well know in Fashion world and very populart in a summer days. There are many versions you can choose from - sandals, wedges, flats or even sneakers.

My idea was to creat something intersting

and sustainable which you can make yourself.

For the shoes I used:

- A pair of esparto rope sole

- One pair of jeans

-Neopren (for the inside of the sole)

- Fabric glue

- Threads

- Thick needle

- vintage crochet cotton thread

THE FINAL PRODUCT

Could you imagine that this shoes were jeans before?

This is one of the ways you can make difference and become a bit more sustainable conscious.
